I have a light tan/brown glittery nail polish that I really like, but everyone is different. I really don't like black nail polish though, so I would say anything but black. The first site from Maybelline gives you some information on doing your nails. It is under My Color Advisor.





The second site actually gives you more information on finding a shade and according to Maybelline your skin tone don't matter when selecting nail polish. The third site is the color guide from Maybelline. I tend to stick to light browns, pinks, corals, plum. I work in a local store and they have some really kewl nail colors with glitter and they also have glitter eye makeup which is really kewl. Hope this helps.Whats the best color nail polish?

Well.. it depends on your skin..





If you have a warmer skin (which would be a pinkish undertone) tone.. stick to french manicure, raspberries, reds, darker purples. Just stay away from the blues and greens and icy colours





If you have an olive undertone.. you can pretty much do any colour.. but I think stick to the darker shades. But really, most colours work..





If you have a icy skin colour with a bit of a blue undertone, stick with the blues, greens, browns, purples. Pretty much avoid hot colours if you can.





You can tell your skin shade by looking in a mirror usually. Look around your fingers more to tell. Also, sometimes holding up silver and gold jewelery to your skin helps. Because if silver looks better, then you have a bluer undertone. If gold looks better, you probably have a pink undertone.
