I think cabana pink by OPI is the best. It's girlie and fun and unfortunately discontinued. :(

I don't think there is just one best color of nail polish that's going to work for everyone everytime. I think the best color is the one you grab out of your nail polish collection because it fits your mood at the time or it just catches your eye. Last week I was wearing a neutral pinkish beige, this week I'm wearing an intensely dark purple.





I look at it this way, if it looks horrid, I'll just grab the nail polish remover and try something else. :o)

Well, I'm a nail tech and a lot of people like the color Pompeii purple by OPI. It looks good on toes.
i always liked the french pedi with just a touch of color, a line of color where the white and pink meet. and a bit of nail art on the big toe to tie it all together.

I'm a huge fan of ';Linkin Park After Dark'; by OPI which is a really deep dark purple...I think its almost black but not as harsh when you get two coats on the toes. I get it on my finger nails all of the time. Literally. I like it for fall b/c you will prob switch from open toe shoes to peep toes and the dark color draws the eye without looking strange with fall shoe and clothing colors.





You toes will look faboo no matter what color you choose! Why? Cause you deserve it! Have a wonderful relaxing time!!!

It really depends on what you want:





If you want them to be noticed then paint them a bright red or pink





If you just don't want them to look bad then get a french tip





If you want to match paint them black and then put silver glitter on them(but not tooooo much. Just so that it shows)





If you want them to look cool then their is a mirror image nail polish that maybeline makes. It is silver and shiny and kind of reflects things. Might not sound like it but really cute
Well you could do a black, which would give it edge,


or you could do like a very light pink which would give it a very feminin vibe, or a super bright red which would just be very stand out ish and hot!


I don't know which type of look you're going for, but any of these three i described will look great.
Since those are neutral colors you can put any color you want.


But whatever you do don't match your toe nail polish and your finger nail polish that just looks weird.


Try going for two colors that are in the same color group but a different shade.

I always thought of boys wearing black nail polish is emo style. So it depends on who you are and who you hang round with. When I was in, back in prehistoric time, you could wear clear or a light, fingernail colored, pink. French manicure would be acceptable also, since it looks like fingernails. No red, glitter, black, green......

If you are pale, opt for a pink. Shades ranging from light to hot pink will work great. Avoid dark pinks like fuschia, they will not look good against pale skin.

I like glow in the dark polish I work with food so it has to be clear the glow in the dark looks clear in the day but at night it glows I get comments on it all the time . You can only get it around halloween so I stock up.

wow, i have this strange obsession with putting polish on my nails! last week they where red, the week before they where black. Coincidence much. I'm Filipino too. I usually use a nude,light-brown colour and that gets other people's attentions just fine. It's called ';Just Bare'; from Revlon. It's a Limited Edition, so I'm not sure if they still sell that. Good luck though.

I have two. When I'm looking for something soft and subtle, I choose a light, slightly translucent pink/white. When I'm looking for something with a POW!, I go for electric blue (which is what I'm wearing right now.) It's exciting without looking too vampy, like bright red. :)

since you do have an olive complextion you should stick with either light pinks or a pink-ish orange. depending on whether you are more tan or not.
I am usually light skinned but get a very nice tan during the summer. Lavender of any shade seems like the perfect color for my ever changing skin tone.

pinks suit almost everyone, so go hunting for the perfect pink, opi's great. otherwise reds, neutral colours and if you wanna go crazy you could probably pull off silver and other bright colours.your skin and hair colour works well with most colours, if you cant decide which one you like buy a few bottles of cheap nail polish in differnent colours and wear each one, then when you've decided your fave go out and find a matching better quality one.
try a nice baby pink, in perhaps a slightly darker shade...


also lilac will work on you in any shade... bronze colours will work, so will nudes and beiges

Try a nude beige on fingers to make hands look clean and polished. On toes, brights really pop out on darker skin tones. Try hot pinks and corals.





For a dressier, more refined look, go for plum or mauve.

don't go with anything to light or pale as it will make a strange contrast against your skin. I am a mocha color, and I love OPI Purplicious. It looks great against my skin as I already look as though I have tanned skin year round. Good luck with your search. I also like to crete patterns with white, black and highlight with silver.
a french manicure is a very simple yet trendy yet classy yet elegant at the same time! I think thats the best because it goes with every ocassion and would totally complement your skin tone!
