first of all, your dress might not be 'appropriate' the bat mitzvah service, but it depends on where it is. since you seem to definately be wearing this dress :) here goes--





french manicures look good for everything and it also adds a little elegance. go easy on the makeup, maybe mascara and lipgloss but probably not eyeliner or blush.

that dress is adorable! i'd do some kind of purple nails. i painted my nails purple on my mexico trip and when i got back everyooone loved them! :) not too dark of a purple though, and i'd do just a simple/not too much makeup but alot of pretty mascara :)

bright purple nails would look great. Sally Hansen makes this color called Purple Potion that really pops.





I'd say wera your hair down since the dress is strapless. too much neck/shoulder area might be awkward
