I know black's out and I'm pretty sure that vibrant and bright colors are in this season.

- short nails in a squoval shape (round edges n flat across the top)


- soft metallics like silver-grey (on short nails)


- black (on short nails)


- vibrant but not too vibrant shades (like a toned down magenta instead of bright fuschia...or a cobalt blue rather than bright blue)


- pinks n whites (pearly, simply white or grey-white will do)





wut's out:





- red, french mani, green, dark red or brown


- long nails


- chipped polish





neutral:





- glitter (a little or a lot - doesnt matter)





to get vibrant but not too vibrant colours and different shades of black, try O.P.I.


to get pinks n whites, try essie or revlon


to get glitter, try anna sui or covergirl


to get metallics, try the lipmann collection or O.P.I.

I love pink shades, silver and gold for summer.
Red is my favorite because it is classic and looks good on almost everyone. But if you mean what's best this season, bright colors for toes like coral and dark colors for fingers like deep brown or purple.

i like a very light grey/silver-almost white... I think the nails look really pretty but not too girly. They also go great with a tan.... and they are FINALLY back in fashion. Black was fun for awhile, but it got old really fast.
hmmmm...if ur a fun fun person...go with bright collor...if ur darker go with maroons and blacks..if ur prissy go with shimmery stufff....

it's fun to experiment with different colors but i personally prefer light light light pink-peachy to clear. [=
depends on the season, because red doesn't usually look the greatest on pale, wintery toes, unless you're going for a ';vampiress'; look. shades of blue can work year-round; so can french nails. if you have the right personality, though, anything will work!!!
I think cabana pink by OPI is the best. It's girlie and fun and unfortunately discontinued. :(

I don't think there is just one best color of nail polish that's going to work for everyone everytime. I think the best color is the one you grab out of your nail polish collection because it fits your mood at the time or it just catches your eye. Last week I was wearing a neutral pinkish beige, this week I'm wearing an intensely dark purple.





I look at it this way, if it looks horrid, I'll just grab the nail polish remover and try something else. :o)

well since red stains your nail bed in my opinion the best colors are the light pinks and beiges... they look clean and classic and never go out of style =)

i don't like ';bright'; red. actually, i dont like red. i prefer black, blue, or a pale color of some kind. but i prefer none at all, personally.

I don't know about hair colour but the lighter the nail polish the longer and more elegant they look.

Well, I'm a nail tech and a lot of people like the color Pompeii purple by OPI. It looks good on toes.
i always liked the french pedi with just a touch of color, a line of color where the white and pink meet. and a bit of nail art on the big toe to tie it all together.

Coral or hot pink. That way when you look down at your toes you see bright pretty color. It always makes me smile.

I'm a huge fan of ';Linkin Park After Dark'; by OPI which is a really deep dark purple...I think its almost black but not as harsh when you get two coats on the toes. I get it on my finger nails all of the time. Literally. I like it for fall b/c you will prob switch from open toe shoes to peep toes and the dark color draws the eye without looking strange with fall shoe and clothing colors.





You toes will look faboo no matter what color you choose! Why? Cause you deserve it! Have a wonderful relaxing time!!!

It really depends on what you want:





If you want them to be noticed then paint them a bright red or pink





If you just don't want them to look bad then get a french tip





If you want to match paint them black and then put silver glitter on them(but not tooooo much. Just so that it shows)





If you want them to look cool then their is a mirror image nail polish that maybeline makes. It is silver and shiny and kind of reflects things. Might not sound like it but really cute
Well you could do a black, which would give it edge,


or you could do like a very light pink which would give it a very feminin vibe, or a super bright red which would just be very stand out ish and hot!


I don't know which type of look you're going for, but any of these three i described will look great.
Since those are neutral colors you can put any color you want.


But whatever you do don't match your toe nail polish and your finger nail polish that just looks weird.


Try going for two colors that are in the same color group but a different shade.
uhm, i would totally paint them red cause i often think that red goes SO good with both silvery-ish/white and black colors.
